My name is Riham Jaber. I am from Missouri, USA but reside in Athens, Greece. Throughout my life, I have lived in the United States and Jordan, and now Greece for the past year. I am an English teacher and have taught English as a second language for two years at two different schools in Jordan and have also given private tutoring lessons.
I have completed the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) program with the University of Toronto (Canada) and have received my certificate. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of Phoenix (USA). I speak both English and Arabic.
My goal is to help you learn English through conversation because speaking with you directly is a much more effective way to learn than asking you to hit the books. I can help you build proper sentence structure and use correct grammar.
I am very flexible with the people I work with, from children to adults. The lessons will be set up based on your needs and what I feel is important for you to grow as an English speaker. Being comfortable while you speak is an important part of language acquisition and I will make sure that the lessons are fit for your personal comfort.
Some of my strengths include writing and editing. So if you are also interested in improving your writing skills, I am the tutor for you! Creative writing is one of my passions; poetry, essays, and short stories.
If you are interested, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and getting started on a language adventure!
